FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: external fixation system for transosseous osteosynthesis comprises fixing rods, pins and made of composite material as part of filler and a polymer binder, circular flat supports with holes, semi-circular flat supports with holes with a deflection angle, flat sectors with holes, arcs with holes, vertical threaded and smooth connecting rods, plates with holes, fixation bolts, brackets, fixation nuts, distraction rods, clamps, reduction units, bars, beams, fasteners and bone fixator clamps. Composition of the composite material contains a locally embedded dye of colour and radiopacity, which is different from the colour and radiotransparent of the filler, polymer binder or a combination thereof, in amount of not less than 0.1 wt.% of the polymer binder.
EFFECT: invention provides broader functional capabilities of the external fixation system for transosseous osteosynthesis.
