FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: described is a method for detecting the Henipavirus hendraense virus using the DETECTR method, involving extraction of RNA from biological samples followed by detection of target RNA fragments of the viral genome. Method comprises performing isothermal recombinase polymerase amplification with reverse transcription, combined in one test tube with fluorescent detection, by preliminary spatial separation of reaction mixtures for amplification of nucleic acids and fluorescent detection of DETECTR in a test tube with their subsequent mixing, using LbaCas12a nuclease, primers and probes.
EFFECT: wider range of products used for diagnosis, control and prevention of possible future epidemics, providing reliable diagnosis of the presence of RNA of Henipavirus hendraense virus.
