SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical technologies, namely to devices for obtaining thermal energy and chemicals using electrolysis. Device for obtaining chemicals and thermal energy comprises a working housing, vertically installed electrodes, an electric power supply unit connected to all electrodes, wherein anode and cathode alternate with each other, systems for feeding aqueous solution into the working housing, removing waste solution, cleaning it and collecting the obtained substances, which are connected to a system for feeding aqueous solution. It also comprises a water treatment system for dissolving helium, carbon dioxide and heavy water in it, a system for utilizing thermal energy from a spent aqueous solution, systems for removal of gaseous products of electrolysis, separation of helium, carbon dioxide and their return for repeated use. Systems for feeding aqueous solution into the working housing and removing gaseous products of electrolysis are combined and are made in the form of perforated pipes located one inside the other, passed through holes in the upper parts of the electrodes.
EFFECT: high efficiency of obtaining heat energy and chemicals.
