FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of thin nickel-cobalt-oxide coatings having electrochemical properties on the surface of an electroconductive and transparent substrate by molecular layering. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that in the method of producing a thin electrochromic layer based on nickel and cobalt oxides, an electroconductive and transparent substrate in a reactor with an inert medium, pressure of which is from 800 to 1200 Pa, at temperature of 100-350 °C, is processed by 30-250 ML cycles with the following scheme: treatment of substrate with vapours of nickelocene, temperature of which is 20-170 °C, for 0.1-20 s; reactor cleaning with inert gas for 10-30 s; treatment of substrate with ozone for 1-20 s; reactor cleaning with inert gas; repeating the steps of treating the substrate described above, starting with treatment with nickelocene vapours, 1-10 times; treatment of substrate with cobaltocene vapours, temperature of which is 20-180 °C, for 0.1-20 s; reactor cleaning with inert gas for 15-30 s; treatment of substrate with ozone for 1-20 s; reactor cleaning with inert gas; repeating the steps of treating the substrate described above, starting with treatment with cobaltocene vapours, 1-10 times; obtained electrochromic layer on the surface of an electroconductive and transparent substrate is cooled in an inert medium to temperature of 50 °C.
EFFECT: high quality of the synthesized electrochromic layer.
