FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: single-layered anti-reflective coatings are made on the basis of mesoporous silicon dioxide on products from silicate glass with maximum transmission 98.0-99.0% in visible region of spectrum and have low refractive index, equal 1.23-1.25. Sol-gel process of silicon tetra-alkoxide is performed in presence of two organic compounds in total concentration 1.0-12.0 wt % of sol weight. As organic compounds used are oligoesthers based on ethylene oxide or propylene oxide with molecular weight 200-20000 together with non-ionogenic surface active substances. Surface-active substances have structure CnEOm, where Cn is hydrocarbon radical, containing 7-18 carbon atoms, m is number of oxyethylene groups OE, equal 2-20. Sol is applied on glass by submersion method. Samples with coatings are heated in air atmosphere at 500°C for 5-6 hours in order to perform thermal destruction of organic additive with formation of film from mesoporous silicon dioxide.
EFFECT: reduced reflective index of anti-reflective nanoporous coating.
