FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of 40-% mixture by mixing ethyl rectified alcohol "Extra" and potable water with hardness not more 0.36 mg-equi/l corrected by clarification with aluminum oxide and softening by Na-cationic method. Common salt is preliminarily dissolved in water and filtered, and as filtrate is introduced in mixture. Preliminarily dissolved in water and filtered, sugar is additionally introduced in the mixture. Mixture filtration is conducted through a layer of activated carbon of 4-m high and sand filters with speed of 40 dal/h for fresh carbon and 30 dal/h, for regenerated carbon. Before strength correction, aromatic alcohol of tarragon is introduced in vodka. Consumption of ingredients for production of 1000 dal of special vodka is the following: sugar, 9.8-10.2 kg; common salt, 0.7-0.9 kg; aromatic alcohol of tarragon, 15.8-16.2 cu. dm; ethyl rectified alcohol "Extra" and potable corrected water, the balance for 40-% strength.
