FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing agents for specific rabies prophylaxis in all species of agricultural and domestic animals. Fixed rabies virus is cultured in suspension culture of cells VNK-21 at 35-37 C for 96-144 h. After termination of virus reproduction polyacrylic acid or feracryl (stabilizing agents) up to concentration 0.7-1.0% are added in virus-containing suspension followed by addition of ethyleneimine dimer (inactivating agent) up to concentration 0.1-0.3%. Mixture is incubated at 35-37 C for 20-24 h and obtained vaccine is used both as a liquid and dried form. To obtain the dried preparation a liquid vaccine is dried by sublimation. EFFECT: increased specific safety, immunogenic activity, stability and harmlessness of vaccine, decreased reactivity and allergenicity. 8 cl, 2 tbl, 5 ex
