FIELD: medicine, particularly, traumatology and orthopedics used in fixation of bone fractures. SUBSTANCE: balloon has filled nonexpansible body designed for introduction into bone. Body shape and dimensions ensure compression of at least some part of spongy substance of bone to form hollow in bone spongy substance and to restore the initial position of external cortical layer of bone if it is fractured or flattened. Balloon is protected from exerting excessive pressure on bone external cortical layer. Wall or walls of balloon are such as to attain required filling of balloon body and provide for optimal compression of all bone marrow. Balloon may have sucking catheter. The pain purpose of balloon consists in formation or expansion of hollow or channel in bone, especially, in vertebra bodies. EFFECT: provided possibility of compression of bone spongy substance and bone marrow at bone internal cortical layer irrespective of whether bones condition, fractured or not. 21 cl, 20 dwg
