FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of solution by mixing ethyl rectified alcohol of the highest purification and potable corrected water. The solution is cleaned by activated carbon passing it through carbon-cleaning battery. Aqueous solution of ascorbic acid is introduced in the finishing vessel simultaneously with sugar in the form of aqueous solution or 65.8-% sugar syrup. The vodka is thoroughly mixed and aged, and in the process of ageing introduced is glucose preliminarily dissolved in softened water. After it, the vodka is finally mixed, filtered and bottled. The prepared vodka has the following ratio of components, kg/1000 dal: ascorbic acid, 0.09-0.15; glucose, 4.5-5.5; sugar, 14-15; ethyl rectified alcohol of the highest purification and corrected potable water, in terms of 40-% strength of blend. The vodka enriched by ascorbic acid has distinct vodka flavor without alcohol odor, enriched by easily assimilable sugar and possesses mild taste with slight honey tint in aftertaste.
