SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing two strips of metal similar to metal to be cast into nonoperating crystallizer prior to metal pouring process at the side of paired faces with upper inclined portion; bringing metal strips together in center of crystallizer; feeding molten metal to predetermined level of melt; switching on crystallizer; introducing two other strips of metal different from metal to be cast along surfaces of each face with inclined upper portion. Metal of two strips different from metal to be cast has melting temperature higher than temperature of cast metal.
