METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF SPUTNIK VODKA Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur-and- vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of solution of alcohol and water in special tank by mixing LUX rectified ethyl alcohol and drinkable water verified in amounts ensuring 40% blend strength. Blend is purified on carbon-purifying battery and directed to finishing tank. Contents of finishing tank is thoroughly mixed. Preliminarily dissolved in drinkable verified water is lactose. Glucose and food sorbite are mixed in ration of 2.5:1, dissolved in drinkable verified water allowed to stand for 15-30 min at temperature up to 20 C and introduced into dissolved lactose. Lactose-glucose-sorbite solution is allowed to stand for 15-30 min at temperature up to 20 C. This solution is introduced by portions into finishing tank. The first portion introduced simultaneously with vodka, and subsequent portions are introduced during the first 5-10 min with thorough mixing of tank contents. Then, vodka strength is checked and verified, if need be, and mixed. Vodka is bottled with obligatory control filtration. The following components are used for 1000 dkl of vodka: glucose 3.75-6.25 kg; food sorbite 1.5-2.5 kg; lactose 0.3-0.7 kg; LUX rectified ethyl alcohol and drinkable water verified for 40% vol. strength.
