METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF VODKA "SIMEKS" Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: an aqueous-spirituous solution is prepared into the preparing tank by mixing rectified ethyl alcohol "Ekstra" and purified drinking water taken in amounts providing 40% strength of blend. An aqueous-spirituous solution id purified in battery with activated carbon at the rate of filtration 40 and 30 dal/h for fresh and regenerated carbon, respectively. Then vodka is fed into finishing tank. Refined granulated sugar as sugar syrup of concentration 65.8% or as an aqueous solution is added into the preparing or finishing tank. Sodium hydrocarbonate is added to acetic acid by small portions at constant stirring, prepared solution is filtered and added into the preparing tank. Carbohydrate addition "Frulakt" is dissolved preliminary in purified hot water and added into finishing tank by parts: one portion is added before vodka addition and the next one is added with vodka simultaneously. The tank content is stirred thoroughly. Then vodka strength is controlled, corrected if necessary and stirred. Vodka is bottled with obligatory control filtration. The following components are used, per 1000 dal of vodka: carbohydrate addition "Frulakt", 1.5-2.5 kg; acetic acid, 0.2-0.6 kg; sodium hydrocarbonate, 0.4-0.8 kg; sugar, 7,5-8.5 kg; rectified ethyl alcohol "Ekstra" and purified drinking water are taken in amount to obtain 40% strength. Invention provides preparing vodka with higher organoleptic indices and high stability by means of combination of technological procedures, components and their parameters showing properties exceeding separated components. Vodka shows low toxicity, eliminates heavy metals, radionuclides from body, i. e. it shows antiradiation and hepatoprotective properties.
