METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF VODKA "GUBERNATORSKAYA" Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: an aqueous-spirituous solution is prepared into preparing tank by mixing rectified ethyl alcohol "Luks" and purified drinking water taken in amounts providing 40% strength of blend. An aqueous- -spirituous solution if purified in battery with activated carbon at the rate of filtration up to 40 and 30 dal/h for fresh and regenerated carbon, respectively. Then vodka is fed into finishing tank and stirred thoroughly. Wheat bran an aqueous-spirituous infusion is prepared: 1.8-2.2 kg of wheat bran are poured with an aqueous-spirituous liquid with strength 60 vol. % taken in the ratio 1:20 followed by keeping for 4- 8 days and pouring off infusion. An aqueous-spirituous infusion of the I-st blend in added into finishing tank in two stages: simultaneously with vodka and after 5-10 min of thorough stirring of the tank content. Vodka strength is controlled and corrected if necessary, stirred and subjected for control filtration. Components of vodka are used in the following amounts, per 1000 dal of ready product: wheat bran infusion, 25.8-26.2 kg; rectified ethyl alcohol "Luks" and purified drinking water are taken as measured to obtain 40% of strength. Method ensures to obtain vodka with higher organoleptic indices. EFFECT: improved quality and properties of vodka.
