FIELD: peak-load hot-water boiler plants; heat-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of operation of peak-load hot-water boiler plant consists in heating the heating-system water in hot-water boiler and directing it to consumers; leakage of heating-system water is compensated for by make-up water which is prepared in vacuum deaerator to which starting water and heating agent are fed; then, deaerated make-up water is directed to heating-system pipe line. Heating agent and starting water are heated by waste gases of hot-water boiler before supply to vacuum aerator; heating agent is heated first in way of flow of waste gases.
