METHOD OF VODKA PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: for preparing vodka "Bespokhmelnaya Rus", aqueous-alcoholic solution is prepared in sorting tank from ethyl rectified alcohol "Extra" and potable corrected water providing blend strength of 40%, and solution is thoroughly mixed. Then it is cleaned by activated carbon on carbon-cleaning battery. Filtration speed is to 40 dal/h for fresh carbon, and to 30 dal/h, for regenerated one, and after it, vodka is directed to finishing tank. Concentrate of lactulose in amount of 4.5-5.5 kg/1000 dal of vodka is diluted in vodka in ratio 1:5, filtered, and filtrate is divided into two equal portions and introduced in finishing tank. Before vodka supply, one filtrate portion is introduced in finishing tank, while another portion is introduced in the process of vodka supply to finishing tank, and thoroughly mixed. Then vodka strength is tested, and, if necessary, it is corrected and mixed. Certified vodka is subjected to bottling with obligatory control filtration. Proposed vodka has light, harmonic taste with slight cream tint and characteristic vodka aroma.
