METHOD OF BONE PLASTY IN CASE OF ATROPHY OF ALVEOLAR PROCESS OF JAWS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61C8/00

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry and is intended for recovery of volume of alveolar process of jaws in case of its atrophy. In case of horizontal atrophy cut is made on alveolar process crest. Mucous-periosteal flap is detached and decortication is performed in area of jaw defect. Thin cortical alloplate from superficially demineralised bone of required size and allobone spacer are installed. Alloplate is fixed with screws. Formed space is densely filled with autogenic bone chips with further wound sewing. In case of ventral and combined atrophy second cortical alloplate from superficially-demineralised bone of required size and allobone rod are additionally used. Formed space is filled with mixture of chips of autobone and combined implant 1:1, consisting of 60% of allogenic spongy bone, 20% of allogenic hydroxyapatite and 20% platelet-rich. After 3-4 days dental implants are installed.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce operation trauma due to application of alloplates fro superficially-demineralised bone and combined implant, as well as ensure rigid fixation of recovered volume of bone tissue due to application of allobone spacer and allobone rod.
