FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: damper comprises an elastic damping element (a calendered rope) 2, weights 3, 4 and a clamp made in the form of a body 5 and a pressing plate 6 and designed for damper suspension. Weights 3, 4 are made in the form of a flat L-shaped cantilever 7 with a cone or a cylindrical shoulder 8, ending with a body of spherical shape 9. Weights are turned relative to the vertical line to opposite sides in direction of rope 2 winding by an identical angle a or an angle a different in value for each weight within the limits from 35° to 55°, and the ratio of internal frequencies of oscillations f1 and f2 of weights 3, 4 is determined by the condition f1:f2=1.0÷1.5. A part 11 of the clamp body 5 is made in the form of a hook with an internal radius, which is not less than the maximum diameter of wires (ropes, cables), having a coverage angle β=(175±5)° and turned relative to their longitudinal axis by an angle γ=10°÷70°.
EFFECT: vibration damper provided for good amplitude-frequency characteristics due to high ability of an elastic damper element to power absorption.
