FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining of contact wires from copper-based alloys includes adding to copper melt of transition metal and phosphorus for obtaining the copper-based alloy containing 0.1-0.3 wt % nickel phosphide or cobalt phosphide of stoichiometric composition, feeding of the alloy into a crystalliser, alloy crystallisation as a section, rolling of the named section directly after crystallisation to the rod iron in the conditions providing hardening of an alloy, aging at 400-500°C and the subsequent forming of the electric contact wire.
EFFECT: improvement of strength properties of wires due to alloying of Ni and Co phosphides of forming quasibinary cuts on the state charts with copper and better than iron soluble in copper and having smaller affinity to oxygen.
