SUBSTANCE: according to the invention laser treatment method for non-metal plates consists in irradiation of plates surface with laser pulse having minimum divergence. At that energy density at the plate surface is determined by the ratio linking specific sublimation energy of the plate material, the plate thickness, absorption factor for the plate material at wave length of influencing laser irradiation and reflection coefficient of the plate material, and laser irradiation outputted by means of dielectric mirror placed normally to the laser beam and having reflection coefficient of ~ 99.9% at wave length of laser irradiation is returned to the plate.
EFFECT: reduced energy consumption at punching of holes in non-metal plates by laser irradiation.
