FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for formation of groups of polarised electrons with preset orientation spin in devices of solid-state electronics. Invention consists in that graphene spin filter has a monolayer of graphene with two ferromagnetic electrodes, an insulating layer between monolayer of graphene and each of ferromagnetic electrodes, and a layer of noble metal, insulating layer used is buffer monolayer of graphene whose dimensions are limited by dimensions of ferromagnetic electrode, and noble metal layer is located between ferromagnetic electrode and buffer monolayer of graphene, noble metal layer consists of a monolayer of gold atoms.
EFFECT: increasing degree of spin polarization of current and reducing spin current losses.
