FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method includes the melting of iron ore concentrate in the furnace and dephosphorization of iron-containing oxide melt. The melt temperature is adjusted to a temperature of 1000-1800°C and dephosphorization is performed by blowing of the melt with gaseous carbon monoxide.

EFFECT: invention allows to obtain a cast iron with low phosphorus content.
