FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves conduction of a confocal laser endoscope sensor for endomicroscopy through the bronchoscope instrumental channel into the airway lumen at a wavelength of 488 nm. At that, all detected foci of altered tracheobronchial tree mucosa are irrigated with 0.01% solution of proflavine acetate, which has a fluorescent glow in the wavelength range of 505-550 nm, with an exposure of 3 minutes. After that a mini-probe is installed directly on the surface of the altered part of the tracheobronchial tree mucosa, monochrome image of the tissue and cellular elements of the respiratory tract mucous membrane is obtained from the video endoscopy system, 1000 times enlarged in real time, recorded and archived using external recording devices. The resulting image is analyzed and evaluated using automatic endomicrophotogram processing.
EFFECT: method allows to conduct a morphological study of tracheobronchial tree mucous membrane lesions accessible for visual inspection during endoscopic examination, to determine the true boundaries of the tumor lesion, to identify primary-multiple tumor sites, to make a differential diagnosis of the pre-tumor pathology and early central lung cancer.
