FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves the reproduction of an ADMA-like model of gestosis in laboratory pregnant Wistar rats by daily intraperitoneal administration of the NO-synthase inhibitor L-NAME from day 14 to day 20 of pregnancy at a dose of 25 mg/kg/day. Correction of microcirculation disturbances in the placenta is carried out by intragastric administration of the selective inhibitor of arginase II-KUD975. Administration is performed 30 minutes before the administration of L-NAME, a selective inhibitor of arginase II at a dose of 1 mg/kg of animal body weight.
EFFECT: effective correction of placental microcirculation disorders with the exclusion of side effects characteristic of low- and nonselective arginase inhibitors.
