SUBSTANCE: application: to cool small objects. Essence of invention lies in the fact that the thermoelectric device for point cooling is characterized in that, which is made in the form of a matrix of semiconductor nanowires formed in regular nanopores of a dielectric and provided with contacts of the same type of conductivity, so that the boundaries between contacts and nanowires are heterojunctions in which nanowires are potential barriers for the main charge carriers.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide possibility of creating a device for point cooling of current-carrying objects.
