FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of forming the ordered structures on the surface of the solid body and can be used in order to produce whiskers of various materials, which are suitable for thermal evaporation. Thermal deposition 1 of the material, which is intended for the formation of whiskers, is carried out onto the substrate, the morphology of which is in the form of ordered pores and/or in the form of other ordered nano- and/or micrometer-sized 2 inhomogeneities. Temperature of the substrate is selected in such a way as to ensure the diffusion of atoms along the substrate, but to prevent the condensed material against melting. Simultaneously with the thermal evaporation 1, the impulse photonic treatment (IPO) 3 of the substrate surface is performed, thereby providing additional heating of the near-surface layer. Power of the IPO is selected to be as large as possible (1.6÷2.4 W/cm2), at which the re-condensation of the condensed atoms is insignificant. Condensation is carried out in order to obtain the whiskers of maximum length, until the integral (total) thickness of the resulting condensate becomes equal to 1 mcm.
EFFECT: production of solid, regularly spaced-out whiskers of the required length (up to 10 mcm) of various metals and semiconductors, which are suitable for thermal evaporation, resistant to the external environment (temperature, pressure, light), on the surface of any substrate, which contains the ordered defects.
