FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method and apparatus for labeling tires for vehicle wheels. Method of applying labels on tires for vehicle wheels includes placing an unvulcanized tire in the area of application, capturing the label from the feeder of the label holders by means of an applicator head, moving the applicator head carrying the label by means of devices providing movement to the guide device located near the application area, the connection of the applicator head with the support of the guide device, the approach of the support, the applicator head, integral with it and the carrier label, on the guide to the green tire until the specified label is applied.
EFFECT: method of applying labels to tires is proposed.
