FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel management systems for internal combustion engines. Disclosed are methods and systems for reducing errors of distributed fuel injection due to selective injection of direct injection nozzle. In response to the increase in the torque required by the driver when fuel is supplied to the cylinder solely by distributed injection, where the increase in the torque required by the driver comes close to the end of the distributed injection window, distributed injection error can be compensated by direct injection of the injector in the same engine cycle and supply of at least part of the fuel mass corresponding to the error by the direct injection injector. Additionally, part of the fuel mass can be supplied by the injector of the distributed injection in the same engine cycle due to increased duration of injection, if possible.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing error of formation of air-fuel mixture in engine, improving engine characteristics and reducing engine toxicity.
