FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solar power engineering, in particular to a method of making photoconverters, and can be used in electronic industry for converting light energy into electrical energy. Method of making a photoconverter includes forming a mesa-structure from a photosensitive semiconductor heterostructure A3B5, depositing an antireflection coating, forming a dielectric coating on the periphery of the photosensitive region and on the side surface of the mesa-structure, forming ohmic contact buses on the heterostructure front surface and the contact pad on the mesa-structure side surface coated with the dielectric layer, forming the rear ohmic contact.
EFFECT: invention increases operating speed of the photoconverter.
