FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics, and can be used for diagnosing preeclampsia in pregnant women at 24–40 weeks of pregnancy. That is ensured by determining a mean arterial pressure (MAP) and a mean dry thrombocyte level in a pregnant woman at 24–40 weeks. Diagnostic index Y is then calculated by formula: Y=-32.0683-(-0.3259 × X1)-(0.5853 × X2), where X1 is the mean arterial pressure level (MAP), mm Hg; X2 is a level of average dry weight of thrombocytes in peripheral venous blood in picograms. If Y is more than 0, preeclampsia is diagnosed. Invention provides higher accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of diagnosing preeclampsia.
EFFECT: use of an average dry thrombocyte mass enables diagnosing preeclampsia in women with proteinuria not related to the underlying disease.
