FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for formation of anticorrosion layers on surface of fuel elements by means of heat treatment by electron beam and can be used for formation of anticorrosive layers on surface of cylindrical products of large length. Pulse source of electron beam of triode type with cylindrical system of electrodes provides formation of electron beam radially converging to longitudinal axis and uses fuel element as anode. A vacuum chamber with an ion-plasma sputtering system and a mechanism providing movement of the fuel element are installed coaxially with the electrode system of the electron beam source. Connection of electrodes of electron beam source with generator of pulse voltage by several cables of equal length at uniform distribution of contacts on surface of electrodes provides minimum distortion of electron beam on surface of fuel element.
EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability and service life of fuel elements for nuclear reactors due to higher homogeneity of anticorrosion layers on their surface.
