FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of a ligand of a receptor of follicle-stimulating hormone (hereinafter – RFSH) of a human, which is a β-subunit of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSHβ) of a human, and which is characterized by a sequence SEQ. ID. no. 2 or a sequence that is at least 90% similar to the sequence corresponding to SEQ. ID. no. 2, preferably 90-99.9% or more similar, and more preferably 95-97% similar, for the treatment and/or diagnostics of tumors. A method for obtaining the ligand of the receptor of follicle-stimulating hormone (RFSH) of a human, which is a β-subunit of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSHβ) of a human, using recombinant DNA technology, is also proposed. Forms of FSH subunits of the present invention bind to FSHR with high affinity.
EFFECT: producing the ligand of RFSH for the treatment of tumors.
