FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a vehicle and an autonomous driving system. The autonomous driving system contains a computer that sends a command to the vehicle platform. The computer transmits to the vehicle platform a command containing a first command for acceleration and deceleration and a second command for keeping stationary. The first command specifies a positive value when acceleration is requested and a negative value when deceleration is requested. The computer receives the first signal indicating the longitudinal speed of the vehicle and the second signal indicating the stop status, then the computer sends the first command indicating a negative value with a deceleration request to the vehicle platform to stop the vehicle, the computer sends a second command with a request to keep stationary to the vehicle platform and until the second signal indicates a stop in response to the second command, the computer transmits the first command indicating a negative value, continuing to request deceleration from the vehicle platform.
EFFECT: increased vehicle driving safety.
