FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely experimental oncology. A method for obtaining an orthotopic PDX model of human brain glioblastoma on immunodeficient Balb/c Nude mice for preclinical study of antitumor effects of cytostatic drugs includes anesthesia of mice, implantation of tumor material obtained from a patient after surgical resection of glioblastoma by dissecting the skin on the head of an immunodeficient mouse, retreating 2 mm from the point of interocular width. Next, a hole in the skull is formed with the help of boron, into which a tumor fragment with a volume of 8 mm3 is placed. Then a Tachocomb is applied over the defect of the skull bone. Next, the surgical wound is sutured. When the tumor material reaches a volume of 36 mm3, xenografts of glioblastoma of the human brain are transplanted up to the 5th passage.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to conduct preclinical tests of cytostatic drugs using a model that preserves certain histological characteristics of tumor material obtained from a donor patient and has a similar level of proliferative activity of tumor tissue.
