FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a magnetron spraying system (MSS) for processing an elongated product in the form of a fuel element shell. The mentioned magnetron spraying system contains a cylindrical housing in which a cylindrical external electrode and a rotating magnetic assembly are placed. The external electrode is made with the possibility of placing the mentioned product in its cavity as an internal electrode. The rotating magnetic assembly comprises a hollow shaft mounted on ball bearings on the outer surface of the said cylindrical housing. At least one groove is made on the outer surface of the hollow shaft, in which the assembly of magnets is placed in the form of a series of permanent magnets.
EFFECT: optimization of the design of extended magnetron spraying systems (MSS), simplification of their manufacturing technology and expansion of their functionality is provided.
