FIELD: chemical processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for isomerisation of light hydrocarbons, including heating a dry hydrogen stream and a stream containing an organochlorine compound to a temperature from 65 °C to 290 °C in order to form a heated hydrogen stream and a heated stream containing an organochlorine compound; directing the heated hydrogen stream and the heated stream containing an organochlorine compound into an organochlorine compound decomposition reactor containing a chloride decomposition catalyst in order to ensure the decomposition of the organochlorine compound, forming a product stream containing hydrogen, hydrocarbon, and HCl; directing the product stream and a stream of light hydrocarbon raw materials containing hydrocarbons with 4 to 8 carbon atoms at a temperature below 100 °C into the isomerisation reaction zone and ensuring the isomerisation of the stream of light hydrocarbon raw materials in the presence of HCl in the product stream under conditions of isomerisation in the presence of the isomerisation catalyst, forming an isomerisation product in the isomerisation reaction zone.
EFFECT: reduced working temperature in the isomerisation reaction zone, the temperature at the entrance to the isomerisation reaction zone being below 105 °C.
