FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention reveals a new method of producing protein nanoparticles from immunoglobulin molecules (STF, Swift Thermal Formation), based on rapid short-term heating of an aqueous solution of immunoglobulin to a temperature of 50–99°C and treating it with ultrasound followed by the addition of a cross-linker solution to ensure the stability of the nanoparticles. Antibodies in the composition of protein nanoparticles obtained according to the invention retain their ability to specifically bind to the corresponding antigen.
EFFECT: invention can also be applied in various fields of medicine when obtaining nanoforms of medicinal products.
