FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, particularly to a method for rapid diagnosis of human chromosomal-integrated betagerpesvirus 6A/B in patient's blood. For this purpose, clinical and laboratory studies are carried out, the viral load of the type of HHV-6A/HHV-6B virus is determined in PCR in whole blood, then at viral load of HHV-6A/B from 4.77 to 5.37 lg copies/105 cells, leukocyte fractions are recovered from blood: lymphocytes, neutrophils, and if HHV-6A/B DNA is detected in lymphocytes and neutrophils, chromosomal integration of the virus is diagnosed, and if HHV-6A/B DNA is detected in lymphocytes, an active infection associated with HHV-6A/B is diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy of rapid diagnosis of human chromosome-integrated betagerpesvirus 6A/B in patient's blood due to clinical and laboratory studies.
